Discover a better way to manage eczema

Did you know that Australia has one of the highest rates of eczema in the world?* Itโ€™s estimated that it affects between 10-15% of the population.

The most common symptoms are dry, red and itchy skin at the elbow creases, wrists, neck, ankles and behind the knees.

Eczema occurs most commonly in infants, where it affects around 1 in 5 children under 2 years of age. While some children will completely outgrow their eczema.

What are the triggers?

When the barrier of the skin is damaged, moisture makes the skin more susceptible to allergens and irritants. This irritation can trigger the skin to release certain chemicals that make you feel itchy.

Known triggers can include:

  • Dry skin

  • Excessive scratching

  • Viral or bacterial infections

  • Inhalant allergens

  • Food intolerances

  • Irritants such as perfumes, soap, woollen or synthetic fabrics

  • Temperature changes

  • Stress
